Aerosmith 'story'

Here's another 'story' I've read in an Aerosmith book: John Kalodner (their A & R) approached Jim in the late 80's to write for their Permanent Vacation album (I think). Jim agreed but Tyler & Perry weren't so keen for some reason. With shades of Bat 3, they then approached Desmond Child, and wrote 'Dude Looks Like A Lady'.
