I think he would be recognised/acknowledged a lot more if he allowed it (ie - played the publicity game), but I guess that's not his style?

Someone's mentioned this before, but it would be cool if Melvyn Bragg did a South Bank Show on Jim (very respected arts show on ITV in UK).

If/when Bat musical happens (in London), Jim should try and do a lot of media (This Morning, Paul O'Grady, Newsnight Review, Classic Rock, Q, newspaper interviews etc etc), as well as a 'Making of' Bat musical DVD (documenting the rehearsals, creative team interviews, music recording sessions etc etc).

The ultimate promotion/recognition for Bat (& Jim) would be to do a casting show (like 'I'd Do Anything'), with Jim as one of the judges.

I'm sure ALW could pull the strings necessary to help get that produced (maybe on ITV)??
