...absolutely EPIC.
Hands down one of the best shows I've seen him do and a remarkable recovery over the last time I saw him. He looks and sounds 15 years younger.
Stunning rendition of Bat. Could well be the best version I've witnessed out of 15 or so shows I've seen.
Meat talk about Jim Steinman before he did Two out of Three. He called him his brother and that Two out of Three was written as a bet in response to someone challenging him to write a song like Elvis' "I want you, I need you, I love you". Instead Jim opted for "I want you, I need you but there ain't no way I'm ever going to love you". Never heard that story before.
Superb crowd interaction and a HUGE tribute to Steinman's work in my opinion. Meat is still carrying the Steinman flag strongly in my opinion. There is no better if you ask me.
