I noticed The Wolf talking about Doctor Who in his profile (he would like to write for that series) and LordRahl recently suggested that "Farscape" would be a better plot than Peter Pan for "BOOH". I also read in the paper today that George Lucas will soon be releasing the Star Wars films in 3D. This reminded me of a conversation I had with Ryan ages and ages ago (Scaramouche is right that I have a good memory) about his love for those films. So I thought that maybe we could start a science fiction thread to discuss our favourite science fiction books, films, television series or computer games. My personal favourite is the original Star trek series that is still being broadcast. I like the films but I prefer the TV series, even though the sets and the costumes are sometimes awful. Perhaps Ryan could comment on George Lucas, since it now appears that he is back on the board. I would be interested to know what The Wolf meant when he was talking about taking certain elements out of Doctor Who. Also, many thanks to LordRahl for posting his "Farscape" clip further down this page. Maybe he could tell us more about how he got into "Farscape". Gosh. I would be interested to hear from anyone who has anything to say about science fiction. Does anyone else like Kubrick's "2001"? I love it but when I'm in a different mood from when I love Star Trek.
