Where did "Starker als wir sind" come from?

After someone mentioning that Starker sounds similar to the chorus of Mariah Carey's "Hero" and asked why "Draussen ist Freiheid / Die roten Stiefel" changed into "Draussen ist Freiheid / Die roten Stiefel / Stärker als wir sind" in the Stuttgart production of Tanz, I started to wonder. And so far, I'm drawing a total blank as to where Starker came from. Was it especially written for Stuttgart, or was it lying around for DotV? (Was DotV even being planed at the time?) And how did the Karine Hannah demo of "Braver" tie in with all this? Anyone any thoughts?
