| To me, they don't fit at all. Paradise Lost seems to belong to whatever song Jim had mind when he wrote his follow up to "Dashboard Light". They just feel tacked on to this new set of lyrics and have nothing to do with the Hook character and the rest of the lyrics. Also very disappointed to find that he's re-using "Ribbons of Blood" and not writing the rockabilly serial-killer song he promised back in 1983. (yes, folks - some of those lyrics are at least 25 years old!) I'll say it out loud - am I the only one who's actually feeling rather depressed by the whole "Bat" musical thing and wishes Jim was just doing an album full of new songs for someone...anyone? | |
