| Probably the most surprisingly un-commented on thing Jim could have said. Especially by Smeg, who I wager could think of a reason or two. (not least of which is his vocal chords, eh, Smeg?) So all doors remain open, I gather. Interesting times. Would be pretty cool, I guess, to have a Bat Climax album by Meat, for the Meat Heads and the completists, as an off-shoot of the larger BooH musical, with the cast-album as the "real deal" for the staunch anti-Loaf set. But then again, that would un-avoidably link the musical with Meat, which is of course what is ostensibly trying to be avoided after all these years. Wasn't that the point of letting Meat do "Bat III," so he could finish molesting the Bat name and Jim could finally attempt to reclaim it for his own? Good arguments on both sides, I think. But in the end, the more publicity Jim could get for the musical, most likely the better. | |
