There are some people who never want Nutz or BOOH to open on Broadway because of what happened with DOTV. I personally don't agree with that thinking but I guess that Broadway is more dangerous than The West End. Maybe this is why ALW didn't open Whistle Down The Wind on Broadway. Even though it played for two years in the West End. And was relatively successful. Gosh. I would love to see an English language version of Tanz open in the West End. But one which is closer to the Roman Polanski version than DOTV was.
